Within five days of receipt, we will send you an acknowledgement letter complete with an interview date. If you do not receive one, please check that your application has been received. We look forward to receiving your application.
We will interview you later in March to listen to you talk about your application and to discuss the choice of subjects you have made. Your parents are warmly encouraged to attend this interview. Your interview is not an exam or a personality test! We use it to get to know you and help you choose the right course to suit your interest and ability. It is a good idea to bring your Progress File, your personal statement, and details of any achievements you have made during your time at school.
The interview will be an opportunity for you to talk about your strengths, your plans for the future and to ask any questions you might have about the courses you have chosen. In addition, applicants who have not attended Moor Park High School and Sixth Form should bring a copy of their latest year 11 school report and a reference from a member of staff from their school if possible. At the interview we will make you an offer of a place, if we can, and usually attach conditions, such as five grade A*-C GCSE passes including English and Mathematics and grade B or above in the subject you wish to study.
