School Uniform & P.E. Kit
The Governors, staff and pupils of our school believe that a school uniform for pupils in years 7 – 11 is desirable and appropriate and helps promote a good working environment.

Equipment List
It is also important that all students arrive at school with the correct equipment for learning. Please find below a list of compulsory items that all students require and also optional equipment that students find useful to have.
Teachers may not always be able to provide calculators for students during lessons due to the limited number available in school. We therefore strongly advise that students purchase their own scientific calculator to use both at home and in school, allowing them to become familiar with the model they will use in their GCSE examinations.
We recommend the Casio FX-85GTCW scientific calculator. This can be purchased from a range of retailers or directly from school at the discounted price of £11, payment can be made through IRIS Parentmail.
While a small number of calculators are available for occasional use in lessons, this is limited and cannot be guaranteed for every student. Having their own calculator will ensure students have consistent access to the equipment they need for learning, homework, revision
School equipment must be in a backpack. The backpack should be waterproof and offer protection to books and planners. Backpacks must be large enough to accommodate A4 books and planners without damage.
Students will be issued with a school planner in September. This must be brought to school every day.
