Resistant Materials

Year 11

This is a very practical course in which students are required to design and explore the exciting world of toy design.  We encourage students to use a combination of research, drawing, computers and ‘making’ skills to create a professional educational toy for children using wood, metal, plastic or textiles. Our aim is to develop in students the skills required in the highly charged world of product development.
