Year 10 and Year 12

As we begin our face to face teaching sessions, please be aware that Year 10 and Year 12 pupils will now be set work ONCE per week, per subject on Microsoft Teams, the amount each week will equal the same amount of learning that students have received previously.  It will only be posted once, however, rather than every lesson.

As well as the lesson/lesson resources, accompanying homework AND supplementary work will be posted on Microsoft Teams for all pupils to access.  Although work will only be set once per week, it will require the same amount of effort and time from pupils. For option subjects it is suggested that the lesson be treated as a revision opportunity looking at a number of topics – supplementary tasks and homework will be set each week, supported by the in-school presentation.

Year 11

A Level and BTEC Bridging Work

From Monday 20th April, we will be providing A Level and BTEC bridging work for Year 11 to access via the Microsoft Teams platform.
Students are welcome to complete work for any subjects they wish and can submit it via Teams for teacher feedback.
This is a great opportunity for pupils to keep their brains active and to prepare themselves for further education, whether they plan on continuing their studies here with us at  Moor Park Sixth Form or moving in elsewhere.
We will also be updating Teams regularly with a range of wider reading and learning opportunities available online.

Transition to Sixth Form

For Y11 pupils who are intending on continuing their studies here with us at sixth form, please expect a letter this half term which will provide you with all the information you need for starting with us in September.
If you didn’t apply, but would like to, please contact Miss Morgan either by the main school telephone number or by email on [email protected]

Year 13

By now, you are aware that there will be no summer exams and your grades will be calculated by school. You should now focus your time and efforts by preparing for your next steps, to either university or employment.
Over the next few weeks Mr Seva and Mr Crompton will be sharing information and resources with you via Microsoft Teams and we will be contacting all of you personally.
If you have any immediate concerns or queries, you can contact Miss Morgan via email on [email protected]

Supplementary Work

Should your child finish all the work that has been set please see the supplementary learning below for each year group. If your child has any issues accessing Office 365 or Microsoft TEAMS this work can also be used whilst you contact a member of our ICT Team.
